While it’s best to flow with this seasonal change, that doesn’t mean it’s wrong to support or augment your energy as humans have been doing for thousands of years…thanks to plants. The focus is evenly split between energy-supporting calories and energy-harmonizing herbs resulting in an all-round delicious starter for an active body. This recipe was actually inspired by the ‘vegan snickers’ flavor craze, but naturally I went and superpowered it with nutrients beyond recognition, lol. It’s just as delicious but twice as good for you (and a bit more fibrous to help balance out the sugars and keep the glycemic load low).
Spicy Goji Sunrise Smoothie
As the sun gets warmer and warmer on this side of the equator, I’m revisiting one of my favorite smoothie recipes.
