And so it’s finally here…Hi All, I’m so happy to release the first episode of Somnostica: A Podcast for Dreamers.
First off, none of this would be possible without my supporters, so thank you all – it feels so wonderful to finally send this little dream out into this world.
The Somnostica series is, in a way, the unification of different facets of my work into a sort of mental journey aimed at giving the listener a place to unwind, relax and dream.
We are going through a long, difficult era and one unseen peril is the loss of imagination. Hope, curiosity, creativity and happiness can wither under continuous sorrow and stress making it harder and harder to imagine how things can ever get better. This offering is my way of battling back that foe.
In my work I blend ND stim, ASMR triggers, brain entrainment, guided meditation/visualization, spiritual practice, metaphysics, physics and biology as these are, well, parts of my focus. Whenever I do Somnostica role plays I assume the very-slightly-whimsical yet matter of fact angle of a “Metaphysical Assistant” of sorts who offers to teach and serve as needed, sometimes giving a webinar about crystals, others applying a full on mind adjustment through sensory stimulation.
For those curious (or worried), I will still be doing Somnostica RPs on Youtube, but the podcast format is focused on offering an immersive experience of another kind. Additionally, it is often harder and more limiting making the videos, though if you’d like to see more of them monthly, consider supporting that possibility by signing up as a Patron.
This is just the beginning, and I’m hoping to enrich the experience over time with new instruments and more deeply varied features. Things like sound healing instruments, technical upgrades and a longer production time will be required to fully pull this vision into reality.
